Saul Canelo Alvarez vs Terrance Crawford

Prediction: Terrance Crawford by decision @ 9/4

Preview: Saturday nights main event takes place in Las Vegas as TBud takes on Canelo at super middleweight.

Crawford jumps from 154lb to 168 in a huge step up in weight. Canelo has previously fought at 175 and will be much the more comfortable at the weight.

A stoppage is highly unlikely due to canelo’s lower output as of recent and Crawfords supreme boxing ability. Both fighters have never been dropped and I expect that to remain the same.

I expect Crawford to implement success from Bivols win over Canelo and throw with volume. Many punches of which, will land on gloves but will force canelo to revert to a solid shell guard. With canelos usual slow starts and Crawford tricky southpaw style it’s entirely possible we enter the 5th round 3-1 or 4-0 up.
